Frequently asked questions
What is the Malouf M555 Smart Adjustable Bed Base and what does it do beyond lifting the head and feet?
The Malouf M555 Smart Adjustable Bed Base offers adjustable head and foot elevation, five preset positions plus five programmable options, and a massage system with 12 combinations. It also includes underbed lighting, a child lock, and dual USB charging ports, all controllable by a wireless remote or Siri voice commands.
Who would benefit most from this adjustable base and who might not be the best fit?
It’s well suited for readers, TV watchers, and anyone wanting personalized comfort and pressure relief. It may be less ideal for rooms with only a platform or floor setup if a compatible foundation isn’t available, since it rests on a foundation, platform, slat frame, or the floor.
How do I use and set up the base for activities like reading or watching TV in bed?
Use the wireless remote or Siri commands to raise the head or feet to your preferred position, select one of the preset modes (Zero Gravity, Anti-Snore, Lounge, TV, Flat), or customize a programmable position. The massage feature can be tuned with 12 combinations for comfort.
What features should I focus on first when evaluating this base for daily use?
Key features include the five preset positions plus programmable options, the 12-massage combinations, backlit wireless remote, Siri compatibility, underbed LED lighting, and the built-in safety child-lock. Also consider its compatibility with your existing foundation, platform, slat frame, or flooring.
What makes this base different from a standard adjustable bed base available elsewhere?
In addition to multiple programmable positions and a massage system, this base integrates voice control via Siri, has underbed lighting and side charging ports, and combines a linen-inspired Stone fabric with versatile compatibility across foundations, platforms, slat frames, or flooring.
Experience customizable comfort with the M555 Smart Adjustable Bed Base, letting you elevate both the head and the feet to your ideal position for reading, watching TV, or slipping into a personalized sleep setup. Enjoy soothing relief with a luxurious massage featuring 12 selectable combinations, so you can fine-tune length and intensity to unwind after a long day. This system combines five preset positions—Zero Gravity, Anti-Snore, Lounge, TV, and Flat—with five programmable options, all controllable via a backlit wireless remote or Siri voice commands for seamless hands-free operation.
Built for convenience and safety, the bed includes underbed LED lighting, a child-lock feature, and charging ports on both sides. Its sturdy, linen-inspired fabric in Stone blends with any decor, and the base can rest on a foundation, platform, slat frame, or even the floor.
